Beyond the now is only fear, and fear has many clocks.
Emanuel in Emanuels Book II
No hour strikes for the lucky one!
I took this saying to heart very early on and have not worn a wristwatch for over 40 years. In other respects, too, I have tried to get along largely without a watch.
But in the meantime, a smartphone has arrived. And poof - the clock is back in play. And also one or more computers.
No question, we need a time comparison especially in the profession, when we do not work alone, and because we "charge" our "working time".
Do you also need a watch for a romantic date? Not necessarily. But we are usually so accustomed to timekeeping and the alarm clock that we hardly ever try to get along without them.
Time is not precious at all, because it is an illusion.
What seems so precious to you is not time, but the only point outside of time:
The now. That, however, is precious.
The more you focus on time, past and future,
the more you miss the now, the most precious thing there is.
Eckhart Tolle
Happy without computer
I never wanted an office job, but to live and work in the midst of nature. In the green, under the open sky.
On a self-sufficient farm. I have also created that for myself, at least for some "time".
But how much I underestimated the seductions and influences of the oh so advanced "civilization" !
Some "time" ago I talked with a 70 year old pianist and music professor about computers.
He doesn't have a PC. Fortunately, he doesn't need it. And he is very happy about it.
At that moment I envied him! And every now and then I play with the idea to get rid of the PC altogether. Even though many reasons seem to speak against it so far: for example, I could not do this blog at all and would not get any information from alternative media.
What information do I really need?
But do I absolutely need this information? To what extent do they perhaps even prevent me from leading a truly free life? Isn't it our mental conditioning that determines how we live?
The healer Martin Kojc mentions in his Textbook of life e.g. this bizarre story:
"The following case, described in detail in a medical journal, is also worthy of attention as an example of keeping oneself young by the power of the mind: A girl was abandoned by her fiancé and lost her mind over it. In her delusion she believed that the unfaithful one would soon return and stood at the window for many years waiting for him. When she was already over sixty, doctors who saw her thought she was barely twenty.
And why didn't she age? Because in her mind she still thought she was a girl, because she firmly believed she was still living in the time when her fiancé had left her. She was as old as she thought she was. Her conviction imprinted itself in her body and kept her young."
The woman had not taken the "information" or misinformation about aging, getting sick and much more into her mind. The cause - her delusion - is not of importance here, apart from the fact that it is probably almost impossible for us with normal mind to ignore misinformation. Exception: Life as a hermit.
"Maybe I really am all right."
We have all been conditioned since birth. And some hate themselves for "wasting time" and missing out on a free life.
A turning point occurs when you look around and say, "Maybe I really am okay."
At this moment
the doors open,
and life enters.Emanuel in Emanuels Book II
You and I - we are "all right". Even in divine order. Our heart knows that most of the time. But we know it all too well: the most peculiar concepts, problems and attempted solutions are formed in the mind.
Our heart path, the path of healing, is also about solutions or resolutions.
In a "time" when I had plenty of money at my disposal, new, attractive paths were open to me. Despite everything I did not go them, did not seem to be able to do anything with my "freedom".
Looking back, my soul simply had other things in mind: To finally listen to my heart! To dissolve all conditioning and old burdens.
Expect synchronicity
By listening to my heart, "the doors open and life enters". Magical "synchronicities" occur. We experience magical coincidences and enjoy them with a glad heart. Because they accelerate our spiritual development, and they also always favor our creative projects.
This Synchronicity effect we can draw more and more into our lives.
How? By expecting synchronicities every day - already right after getting up - and inviting them directly.
In Valchiusella in northern Italy, where I spent 18 months in the immediate vicinity of the community of Damanhur I have experienced this synchronicity effect surprisingly often. Many residents there take it for granted that synchronicities magically happen often in this valley.
They expect magical events and encounters every day. And that is why they occur.
In this way they create a new Field of Consciousness.
The magic of NOW
Imagine that you are outside, in a village, in nature or even in a city. You are walking or driving and have forgotten the clock. Instead of a "schedule" you let the magic of the moment work. "A Course in Miracles" calls it "Holy Moment".
You are one with the divine by surrendering yourself to the divine play. In joyful anticipation of events and encounters that you cannot simply think up or plan.
Joy of life - being happy - love - peace - being healthy - everything is given to you as an inheritance from the Great Source of all being. You will find all this in your heart, where it is placed.
