At last blog post I have invited you to activate the Light within you, the Light that inspires you, that gives you strength and awareness, that connects you to the Source.
Today we are talking about BREATHING. It too can play a key role in healing, because it too connects you to the source of all life. Life breathes you!
Breathing air is a basic nourishment. Let yourself go on a little "airy" walk on the "breathing path" and take a few breath-giving impulses with you.
Do you feel like answering these questions first of all?
- How often are you consciously aware of your breathing?
- Do you do breathing exercises now and then?
- Do you breathe shallowly - or deep into your stomach?
- Rather slow and calm, or rather fast?
- How are you breathing right now?
Your breathing habits are based on what you have created for yourself in the past. How? Through thoughts, beliefs, and judgments. Also through fear-producing experiences and through your diet. Now simply accept the actual state of your breathing without wanting to change it right away.
This acceptance is necessary to bring soul states to light. Body symptoms are an essential means of communication of your soul. Just open yourself and listen within, let the breath carry you.
In the following you will find some impulses to actively use your breath for recovery, rejuvenation and fitness.

Life breathes you.
Life is rhythm, breathing in and breathing out. It pulsates in you, and you are its divine expression! If we do not digress in thoughts and thereby lose the immediate, we can feel consciously breathing with everything one. Like a body cell with consciousness of the whole body. Like a soul that recognizes itself as a divine indivisible (=In-dividual) and gives itself courageously to life.
Life gives us strength and energy. It inspires us (spirare, lat. = to breathe, to live, to be inspired). In wave-like rhythm we let ourselves move.
Conscious breathing = being present in the body
The main theme of this blog is Rejuvenate, Healthy and Free Your Self. As long as our body seems obstructive - for example, if we are not healthy or strong enough - we tend to drift into thoughts and stop being physically present. I openly admit: I still feel this way more often, because it is not easy for me either to break fixed habits.
With the help of conscious breath, however, we succeed more and more in being truly physically present. It is worthwhile to practice this. Below I present a wonderful meditation that leads you exactly into your presence.
Why is it worthwhile? Because we can consciously bring ourselves to master and vitalize our bodies. For too long, we have let it - or other external physical occurrences - rule us. We can now learn to be masters of the body and free ourselves from its shackles.
What does it take to do this? Our loving attention! By consciously breathing deeply and calmly, we fill the body with our Self.
Important: In all our activities we should be in the body with the greater part of our attention.
Breath as the carrier of your visualization
As we breathe consciously, we can use our imagination to go to any part of our body.
Try it out! Maybe you now spontaneously think of a part of your body that is not doing well. Go there now with your loving attention and conscious deep breath. Imagine how your breath as a carrier of healing power floods this place. Connect this with inner images of perfect health.
For too long we have not been present in the body, allowing destructive forces to settle in. Now we can begin to be more and more expansive daily with loving attention and visualization of health and vitality in the body. Give your love to every part of the body. Right now!
Breathe that love into the body. Show how much you love it. Breathe yourself healthy and free!
Very many younger and older people do not love themselves or love themselves too little. They mostly relate this to their body because they don't like it. How this ultimately affects you, you can read here.
Quantum Light Breath ®
Conscious breathing reconnects you with the source of life. Thought chatter pushes you out of this connection. An effective meditation method is therefore the permanent focusing of your breath.
Already years ago I came into deep contact with Quantum Light Breath ®, a breath meditation guided by Jeru Kabbal. For about 1 hour you are lovingly invited again and again to stay with your whole attention on intense breath. The meditation uses a very well put together music selection to support it.
You feel reborn, refreshed, cleansed and very present afterwards.
QLB is still my favorite breath meditation. There are 3 variations, and I like QLB 3 the most.
For variety, you can easily find many other breath meditations. For example SufiBreathing or Osho Chakra Breathing Meditation.
Inner fire
In the last two meditations you breathe consciously into your chakras and you can visualise them in colour.
The chakras are the subtle portals in the body that connect you with your divine self and are often partially closed or inactive.
Through conscious breathing you stimulate your chakras and activate them. In this way you also revive your inner fire. You can gradually control all body processes with your breath and imagination. This is shown very impressively by the Dutch Ice-Man Wim Hof.
His breathing practice is basically similar to tummo breathing, through which unusually high temperatures can be generated in the body. This inner fire allows exposure to more extreme cold without freezing.
Breath and voice
Do you like to sing? Do you find it easy to raise your voice? Or do you express yourself more quietly and reservedly with your voice?
In both cases you may notice a connection with the way you breathe.
No matter where we look in the system, it is always centrally about the flow of energy. A well-developed voice is created when the channels are free and energy can flow freely. Especially older generations could sing a song about how they were sustainably trimmed to be quiet.
If you want to do something for your voice and beyond that for the inner free flow of energy, use your voice, be really LOUD more often!
Little anecdote of mine:
I was on my bike on my way to the men's group and I was riding through a forest. There was some anger inside me, but I didn't dare to just shout it out! Someone might feel disturbed.
As I realized how absurd it was, I made up for the screaming a few days later: In a meadow, far away from the next village, I prepared myself to scream as loud as I could. I took a deep breath and - when I suddenly saw on the horizon - in about 1km distance - a group of cyclists. And stayed quiet for now.
Okay, now, come on! - I was just about to scream, buta banged a shot! a hunter had to be nearby - I was still not alone.
I screamed as loud as I could, several times in a row. Finally! Even within earshot of the hunter!
On the way back, I ran. And ran and ran. An incredible amount of power had been released in me all at once. I was everything else than trained and would have inserted in the normal case after 100m a slow-walk-phase. But now I had the strength to run 2 km non-stop home!
Breath and movement
This anecdote shows how everything is connected. Memorized past experiences led to important energy pathways being blocked. Breathing is no longer free, but restrained, as is the voice. Out of fear of being noticed, of disturbing, we often unconsciously throttle our life-energy.
Often we then lack the strength for more strenuous undertakings. So we start to reduce our movements.
Lack of movement and beyond that slag-forming nutrition lead again to the fact that our energy courses close themselves still more.
In the course of time we become more sensitive to cold. Our inner fire is almost a pilot light, and due to clogged energy pathways the warmth hardly reaches our hands and feet...
You probably decided to stop or even reverse this development, otherwise you wouldn't be reading this, would you?
And you want to know how to do that. Right?
It takes, among other things:
- Your decision for this
- Your willingness
- Perseverance
- Believe it works
- Will to live
However you start, whether with a fitness program, with conscious breathing or with psycho-therapeutic support - life guides you. Trust that exactly the right thing will always happen so that your energy can flow freely again!
Healthy air
Unsere Atemluft ist Nahrung – umfassender als wir bisher denken. Wir sollten darauf achten, uns mit guter Luft zu ernähren.
We always have the power and freedom to choose our living space, and often we don't believe this because we have some beliefs that unnecessarily restrict us.
What is the breathable air like where you live? Fresh? Healthy? Or polluting, full of pollutants? Is it easy for you to take walks in the countryside? Or hikes, climbs, and other fresh air activities?
How important is fresh air to you? Are you willing to change your living space for it? Just take these questions as impulses to feel there.
Prana Breathing - Your Spiritual Light Food
In the wonderful book "The Journey - Life and teachings of the masters in the Far East" by Baird T. Spalding I found a very inspiring chapter on Prana Breathing. It can happen in parallel with physical breathing. Assuming that pure life energy - prana - surrounds us in abundance, we can consciously breathe it in.Â
This succeeds when we do it very subtly, more in our imagination. We inhale our breath, and at the same time consciously inhale prana as well. And in doing so, we know that prana really nourishes us far more than physical food.Â
We can make prana breathing a habit just like physical breathing. As a result, we increasingly nourish ourselves with divine life energy that keeps us young and alive.
Basically, it is Light food, as I have described it as an experience here as consciously perceiving the "energy body". We breathe in Divine Essence and are thus nourished by it completely harmoniously.

May the power always be with you!
These articles fit the topic well:
