Amazing experiments with our perception.
From some momentous deceptions you may have heard: for example, the tragic case of a man who accidentally locked himself in a freezer. He was convinced that he must freeze to death, and so it happened. He was found dead the other day. However: the refrigeration had NOT been turned on!
He died because he was convinced that he would freeze to death. Probably he felt even more extreme cold physically. In any case, it is conceivable. Because in the following video it is clearly shown how corresponding feelings come about.
We can see how the subjects of an experiment felt various impacts on a rubber hand placed in front of them - although they were aware that it was a rubber hand. English video version see here.
Is it all in your head?
The subjects watch the rubber hand being trafficked and feel this. An image is created in their brain in which this rubber hand is part of their body. After the initial conditioning with the feathers, they no longer feel anything on their real hand.
So it's all just imagination? What consequence would that have for our consciousness? Shouldn't we now assume that our physical body is also only an imagination?
Our brain - or what we consider to be it - apparently cannot distinguish between "reality" and "imagination". It produces the same emotional reactions for both.
Therefore, Placebos can bring about healing. It is unimportant whether "active substances" are given or placebos. Only our trusting conviction can bring about healing. In extreme cases also trust in a "chemo-therapy", as in the case of Anita Moorjani's book after her awakening from the coma.
Anita Moorjani's near-death experience
The personal report of her near-death experience -. Dying to be ME - confirms that the body is nothing more than a mirror. Anita Moorjani's book was ill with 'cancer' and was dying.
During coma she stepped out of the body and experienced an immediate liberation from "disease" and fears. Immediately she found herself in a time-transcending space full of light and love.
And she recognized that she had created the 'cancer' by fears - also especially fear of 'cancer' (!) - e.g. with preventive "healthy" nutrition. With the exit from the body she was immediately anxiety-free. Her fears were consequently bound to the body or the body illusion.
During the near-death experience, Anita Moorjani was obviously in another reality. She experiences herself there as healthy, bathing in love and equipped with a spatiotemporal 360° perception. She recognizes her body - lying on the sickbed - as a mere mirror or a function of her consciousness.
Are we all just dreaming?
What is the nature of the "reality" we experience in our "physical life"? There is much to suggest that we are within a larger, dreamlike thought-image world. Are we dreaming it all?
We experience our body - and also our entire environment - according to our previous thoughts.
Very amazing is the here quoted story of a young woman who was abandoned by her fiancé, fell into madness as a result, and at 60 still looked like she was barely 20.
For years, her thoughts circled only around the return of her fiancé, and there was no room for anything else. Not even for phenomena like "illness" or "aging".
The body of the young-at-heart woman was apparently not affected by "aging" in any way. Until now, we believed in an "aging process" as an objective "biological fact". Hardly anyone had the idea to question this axiom.
Body symptoms change with multiple personalities
Another phenomenon is apparently observable in quite a few people with multiple personality disorder: body symptoms change as soon as a change of personality has taken place. Quote from this article:
"For example, one inner person may suffer from diabetes mellitus, but the other inner persons or the host personality may be healthy instead. That is, during the period in which "sub-personality A" is in control, that person is diabetic. This can be days as well as several weeks or months. And in the period in which "sub-personality B" is then active, the same person is healthy and free of complaints.
Within a few hours, the blood values are those of a healthy person.
Similar observations are made with asthma, with psoriasis, as well as other diseases."
"The organ always behaves according to the information it receives from the brain. It functions correctly or it doesn't."
There are also reports of different vision, even color change of pupils in multiple personalities. These changes occur simply because a different "government" is in charge in the brain.
Our body - just a product of our thoughts?
The examples shown here clearly indicate: "aging" and "disease" are not "biological facts" but imaginations as well as dependent on beliefs and fears and - in extreme cases - delusions.
Similarly, "diabetes" or "visual disturbances" may be diagnosable, but the question of causes cannot be answered simply in chemical or physical terms.
We can even assume with some right that also poisonings with substances recognized as "poison" often unfold their destructive power only through faith. Similarly as the man believed in the - switched off - deep-freezing.
For me, the subject area "effect of substances" is like walking a tightrope between two opposites.
On the one hand, there are quite a few examples of threatening effects of poisoning "actually" happening, without the involvement of our thoughts and fears. Many years ago, for example, I experienced meat poisoning, which manifested itself as urticaria.
On the other hand, there are also many examples that only our imagination leads to the effects. Or that our thoughts can override the material effect.
How can these very different variants be reconciled?
One possible answer: we dream it.
In our nightly dreams there are experiences that cannot be reconciled with "biological" or "physical laws". We can fly at once, or a living room changes its appearance and inventory in a split second. If we could remember all dreams, the list of fantastic sequences full of contradictions would be almost endless.
Within night dreams we are used to this contradictoriness. Everything can happen, even if it mocks the "physical laws".
What you see in dreams seems very real. Meanwhile, the Bible says that a deep sleep fell on Adam and nowhere is there any evidence of his awakening. The world has not yet experienced a comprehensive awakening or a comprehensive rebirth.
A Course in Miracles
Are we asleep? Who makes us dream?
Is it too far-fetched to assume that we collectively live in an earth-spanning dream world - as it were, asleep?
Spiritual people in India speak of "maya", that is, "illusion". They take it for granted that the world is deceiving us.
Here in Western Europe, we still have some difficulty with such a view.
In an illusion, contradictions can exist in parallel, simultaneously and equally.
In the article THE challenge: Awaken from the dream world! I address a dream world scenario I found in the book "Busting Loose From the Money Game".
The author suspects as originator of a worldwide "hologram" our collective Higher Self. This Self brings itself with individual, embodied actors into a theater-like earth drama. Just as actors slip into various theater or movie roles. Intention: Self-awareness.
Could it not also be that God, or Primal Creator - the source of life - has set the scene for our dream world? That She experiences Herself through us within this world, in sometimes contradictory ways? Until finally all contradictions are resolved?
Tao - the Great Secret
All names of "God" have in common that they can never express HIM and HER Love, Omnipotence, Wisdom, Glory and Boundlessness even approximately. And in a similar way we do not succeed so far approximately to recognize the Plan and Will of God, let alone to describe it.
Gleichwohl ist mir vor kurzem ein kleines Buch in die Hände gefallen, das den Plan und Willen Gottes auf erhellende Weise offenbart. Ich las es mehrfach mit wachsendem Staunen und habe in einem article darüber geschrieben.
