Find the right bath powder
Alkaline nutrition is important to avoid waste products. If you want to eliminate waste products, a "bath osmosis" can also be very helpful. But beware: Not every powder has the desired effect!
About 3 years ago I tried out bath osmosis intensively, among other things with base salt from Jentschura. Without noticeable success.
2 - 3 times per week I enjoyed an alkaline bath. The baths lasted between 2 and 3 hours. Positive was that I did not freeze by cooling the bath water. That is because of the salt content.
But that's about it. There was no improvement in the skin, which is what I had hoped for most.
The effort was considerable, but in my case the benefit was zero.
In the book "Basisch Baden im Jungbrunnen", the author, Sonja Alkaline, writes that it is precisely the sodium chloride content in most bath powders that prevents effective osmosis.
Therefore only powders on another basis are recommended, e.g:
- Baking soda
- Calcium carbonate
- Crystals (to make internal organs vibrate)
I bought a product of the company Bioleo and I also decided to take an intensive course of treatment at this company.
36 hour intensive bathing with noticeable success.
Admittedly: This 3-day intensive cure is more expensive than average and therefore only conditionally recommended. Also, lying in the tub for 12 hours 3 days in a row is a big challenge.
Since I always want to find out which remedies and methods are really effective, I got involved in this intensive bathing. Yes, it took some getting used to. But I was able to keep it up pretty well. There was enough comfort and variety.
During the cure, you will receive a purely alkaline diet, according to your individual eating habits. You will also receive important research results on the topic orally and in writing. You may also take a cookbook with basic recipes with you.
The high price of the cure is justified by the high costs of its scientific base research, which unfortunately - since 1933 - no longer receives any state support.
The result can be seen.
My skin became much smoother after the 3-day cure. The tendency to flaking has largely disappeared. Even varicose veins and spider veins partially receded.
I am pleased about this visible physical rejuvenation.
The good news is that as effective as this intensive treatment is, you can definitely achieve good effects at home if you have a tub available.
Also 2 to 3 hours of bathing are already effective. It is important for osmosis that the water temperature is lower than the body temperature. It needs a gradient for the acid drainage process from warm to cold.
I found a temperature of just under 35° C pleasant, even for 12 hours.
The alkaline powder is - in my opinion - affordable. 10 full baths cost about 40 €. Since I don't have a bathtub at the moment, I make do with foot/calf baths in an appropriate tub.
In addition, bathing in a natural lake also provides effective purification by osmosis. Physical exercise in general is definitely recommended.
And finally, daily showers in the morning and evening help to eliminate surface slag.
Support through alkaline food
During the cure I received the recommendation: If possible, eat only basic food. Not in the ratio 80 : 20 (alkaline : acidic), as often recommended, but to 100 %. I was given a whole series of tables that show me exactly how alkaline or acidic the individual foods are.
Actually, I do not always succeed in achieving an 80:20 ratio.
The motto is: Eat as much basic food as possible.
Finally, I would like to recommend an older article about purification:
